Real-live still life

Artist Alexa Meade blurs the lines between painting and photography, perception and reality, subject and object. Her "living still lifes" utilize human models painted with acrylic and arranged in scenes that appear two-dimensional when photographed. Without being told, I would never have guessed this was a photo!
