Macarons for the masses

My brother is in Paris this weekend, but I'll be making Paris come to me tomorrow, because it is Free Macaron Day NYC! During this first annual festival, 13 shops (17 if you count multiple locations) will give out a free macaron to each customer that says they're there for Macaron Day, and a portion of the day's sales will be donated to City Harvest. So buy one, get one free, and feel good about it.
